E Costa uses the natural texture of wood as a backdrop to create an exciting arrangement of shapes and forms, the primal blueprint of which is always embedded in nature. Here, E Costa allows himself total freedom, his subjects ranging from landscapes and seascapes to imaginative puzzles and witty juxtapositions of objects framed or enhanced by wood.
